In tune with current market dynamics, the DOPPELGÄNGER brand has decided to expand its online presence through the activation of one of Europe’s leading marketplaces in the fashion industry: Zalando.
To achieve this goal, DOPPELGÄNGER has established a strategic partnership with Yocabè and adopted a direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales strategy on the platform.
DOPPELGÄNGER is a fashion brand that was founded in Italy in 2005 and has been creating menswear lines for about 20 years, taking inspiration from modern men. Since this last season, the collection has also been enriched by the Women’s Line.
With attention to the production chain and a vision centered on value for money, DOPPELGÄNGER designs its products in Italy and manufactures them worldwide, offering its customers the best value for money. In fact, its motto is “The World’s Cheapest Luxury.” Accessibility, service and customer care are the pillars of the brand.
The head office is located in Rome, where more than 70 people work. It has 110 boutiques in 50 cities, both in Italy and abroad. With recent openings in Paris and Copenhagen.
The Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) choice.
For a brand to preside over digital channels is a factor that cannot be overlooked today.
In fact, DOPPELGÄNGER turned to Yocabè to establish a significant presence there where a great many consumers look for products to buy: marketplaces.
Yocabè, then, developed a multichannel D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) online sales strategy tailored to the brand.
As of January 2022, Yocabè managed the distribution of DOPPELGÄNGER products through its own technology and logistics infrastructure, with a focus on Zalando.

2022 start of collaboration
DOPPELGÄNGER lands in 2022 on zalando.co.uk, zalando.fr and zalando.de through a partnership with Yocabè.
Zalando.ch
The entry of zalando.ch in June 2022 resulted in a significant increase in sales for the brand. In fact, comparing the first six months of 2022 with the first half of 2023, sales from this channel came to account for 41% of total sales. The introduction of the Switzerland channel also raised the average receipt by 100 percent.
B2C Logistics
For logistics management, DOPPELGÄNGER opted for the B2C logistics infrastructure provided by Yocabé, which was specially designed to meet all the needs required by marketplaces.
ZFS Logistics
Then, in the third quarter of 2023, Zalando Logistics (ZFS) was introduced, which opened new markets and opportunities) in Spain, Poland, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, Finland, Romania), achieving 30% more sales in just two months.
Customer care
Yocabé has been in charge of customer service, billing and returns management in all countries where the brand has expanded its presence.
